One day in Haga (By Nederlands, Welcome in Hungary)

It was last day in Nederlands. We started in Stayokey - that famous for Rotterdam – at 10. We traveled at station of  Rotterdam Central. We met with our teacher, after we board number E metro, this metro final station in Haag Central. In this place we walked because visited capital city of king. We walked in the city and we see a lot of beautiful building, after our teacher show workplace of the king, Willem Alexander. After we went under the gate in the indoor garden and we see the church and well, when people died. We watched the map and we find tram1. We traveled to Nord See beach. After we admired Nord See, we fight blown sand by the wind, we deligh in the shell and walk in pier we go back tram1. We travel a few minutes and we reach center of Haga. Karolina, Melinda, Helga and me eat in restaurant and we travel some gift shop. The girls bought tulip bulbs and after we go back to station. We traveled30 minutes and we arrive station Rotterdam Central, after I board tram24, when Melinda and Helga walk to the shop, and Karolina board another tram. Everyone come back Rotterdam Blaak at half 6. When our teacher was came we board the train that go Schiphol airport. We traveled one hour, we check in and we go out the inspection gate we talk about the meet. We visited gift shop with Melinda and Helga. We went gate D78, and after we board the plane. The plane take off at 9:20 because delayed, and we landed in correct time at 23:05 in Budapest. We waited our baggage, and after we go to hall and meet our family. We started off at 23:30 and we go home at 00:30.

Rotterdam

Yesterday was a long day so nobody wanted to get up early but we had to go to look around in the city. After the breakfast we went to the Euromast Tower where we could see the city from above. The weather was very windy on the top of the tower but the view was beautiful. We took some photo  than we went down to drink a hot chocolate. After this little break we went back to the city where a ship was waiting for us. From the ship we could see the container terminal and an ocean liner ship. Both were interesting for us because we had never seen things like that before. When we arrived back to the coast we realised that we were hungry so we should have eaten something. Our teacher led us to the city center where we ate in the La Place. Than everybody went to take a walk. Helga, Melinda, Barbi and me went to visit the Markthal where we could eat a newly cooked Stroopwafel. I think I dont need to tell you how beautiful the Markthal was from the inside. Our further plans for the day is to be part of the Internation Film Festival and go to a local party, se we spend our last night worthfully here in Holland.

A long looooooong journey

Today we had a presentation in Friese Poort for the students about our professional practice in the Netherlands. We sayed goodbye to everybody and went home for the luggages. After that we tried to travel to Rotterdam, but there was an accident so we had to get on a bus. Our journey got a bit longer, like 7 hours. :) But now we are in Rotterdam, finally. We had a delicious pizza for dinner and we found our accomodation too. I hope tomorrow will be less rainy and tiring...

Our last practice day

We felt a little bit all day that this is our last practise day. During these three weeks they started likeing me so much that they gave me every chanse to assist and practise. For example when we hace some free time they let me make impressions on the assistants, because I told them that we don't have chanse to practise this. After that I could try it on a pacient, and it turned out great ( luckily for the patient). At first I thought they were just encouraging me but they send the impressions to the lab so I guess they weren't that bad after all. In the last hours I was working with the dental higienist and I polished a lot of patients teeth. For a good bye gift I got a bag of dropje, and we made some milk pie as a thank you gift to appreciate the opportunity to be here. After work an assistant the dentist and I went to the local Snackbar. It was a great ending to our stay, and we promised each other that we will keep in touch in the future.

Special and new things in Dokkum

The Dokkum's elderly home has some special tools, which we don't have. The nurses use an "elevators" which can lift and move the patients. They use special bed clothes which help to patients to move in bed. They have some little bag which continue the medicine. We can check the patient's name, the medicine's name, the date on the bag. They have some special plates which help to patients to eat. It was good to know some new and usefull tools in Dokkum.

Busy Weekday

I have been doing my practise in the Kraantand Heelkunde dentistry (Willemstraat). The other assistants and dentist are really nice and helpful. I got used to work pretty fast. There are quite a lot of difference between this practise and the one at home. We start at 8 am and finish at 5 pm. I can assist all day so it goes by really fast i can always learn new things. The instruments are kind of the same as home so i knew what we use for different procedures. Today one of the patients came because he had toothpain. In this case we check the vital signs of the teeth and do a bitewing X-ray but even without these we could see the cyst on the lower sixth molar.The X-ray showed an abscess around the apex. Unfortunately we could not save this one so we had to extract it. It was quite easy and the cyst came with the teeth. The abscess will dissapear with time.On the other day we usually do fillings, root canal treatments and extractions. Thursday will be my last day here and i feel lucky that i could be a part of this experience
